Our busy Dunedin Laboratory provides service to both the Hospital and Community and is looking for a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to work in the Molecular Pathology department. Your role will see you performing both routine and specialised tests with a high degree of skill and confidence.
This is a permanent full-time role (80 hours per fortnight) and whilst core hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, flexibility with the roster including weekends and evening/night shifts is required.

To be considered for this role you will need, or be able to obtain:
Full registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand.
A current Annual or Interim Practicing Certificate.
A good understanding of molecular testing.
The ability to work in a methodical manner, and demonstrate attention to detail.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Interested candidates must be team players with initiative, good interpersonal and communication skills and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
