Our Oamaru Laboratory has been providing pathology services to the Otago community for more than 60 years. We recognise the importance of highly qualified staff, inspired leadership together with advanced information technology and automation to achieve service excellence.This is a permanent full-time role and our small, dynamic team of professionals operates a busy core laboratory that encompasses both community and hospital testing across Biochemistry, Haematology, and Microbiology.Minimum Requirements:Must be registered as a Scientist with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand, or eligible for registration. We would also consider applicants who are working towards becoming qualified and registered.Experience with Biochemistry, Haematology, and Microbiology would be an advantage.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and provide verbal feedback in a professional manner.To participate in the weekend and on-call roster after suitable training.
