Our busy Dunedin Laboratory provides service to both the Hospital and Community and is looking for a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to work in the Biochemistry department. The department is well-equipped with modern analysers and automated systems. Your role will see you performing both routine and specialised tests with a high degree of skill and confidence.
This is a permanent part-time role (64 hours per fortnight) with core hours from midnight to 8 am Monday to Thursday (Negotiable).

Our ideal candidate will have the following:
Full registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand. We also welcome applications from newly qualified scientists.
A current Annual or Interim Practicing Certificate.
Experience within the discipline of Biochemistry would be an advantage.
The ability to work independently and in a methodical manner adhering to strict quality procedure guidelines.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team are key attributes.
