About the RoleCasual MRT wanted to cover annual and sick leave shifts Monday to Friday 0800-1630 and some weekend and after hours on call shifts available in a busy rural radiology department.
The successful applicant will need excellent communication and time management skills, have the ability to work in a busy unpredictable work environment, have the ability to engage and work collaboratively in our integrated team, and have a positive attitude which will reflect positive patient care.
About the TeamTokoroa radiology has a small team which includes 3 part-time radiographers and one clinical assistant.
We have one x-ray room with the latest digital x-ray equipment installed this month and one digital mobile x-ray unit.
Tokoroa Hospital has a 17 bed inpatient unit, a busy emergency department, a four bed primary birthing unit, an outpatients department serviced by visiting specialists, and a number of community services.
GP practices and other health providers are co-located on the site.
About YouCompetency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Full registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board with a general scope of practice and a current practising certificate.Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities.Excellent interpersonal and team skills.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
