This is mahi that will improve the health and well-being of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it.This is an exciting opportunity to join our Radiology department here at Nelson Hospital where we offer a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including: General Radiography, CT Scanning, Interventional/Cardiac Cath Lab, Ultrasound and MRI.The full-time equivalent salary range for MITs working 80 hours a week is $70,842 to $103,000 (Steps 1 to 8) based on the current Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.Ko wai he kaitono totika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)You will be registered with the NZMRT Board and hold a current APC.You will be a positive, friendly and supportive team player with a good sense of humour and have:sound knowledge of diagnostic radiographywell-developed communication skills and empathythe passion to deliver high-quality healthcarethe flexibility to work a Mon-Sun rotating 24/7 shift rosterExperience in CT and/or Interventional procedures are preferred but not essential.The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.Health NZ Nelson Marlborough is the main health provider for the top of the south.
