Join our team and be a part of our exciting journey!Position: Medical DirectorMediCross Urgent Care and GP Clinic is seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Director with a strong business acumen to join our team in our New Plymouth Central Taranaki clinic. This full-time, leadership role is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centric healthcare services. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who can bridge the gap between clinical practice and business operations.What you'll be doingPlay a pivotal role in shaping the clinical strategy and operational excellence of our organisation.Have a unique blend of clinical expertise and business insight to drive quality care, enhance patient outcomes and ensure financial sustainability of our medical programs.Develop and implement clinical policies, protocols and procedures to maintain the highest standards of patient care.Oversee the clinical operations of the clinic, including managing staffing, scheduling and resource allocation.Collaborate with the team to establish strategic goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with all relevant medical regulations, standards and best practices.Foster a culture of teamwork, professional development and patient-centered care.Represent the clinic in the local medical community and participate in relevant professional associations.What we're looking forFellow of the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care (RNZCUC) or working towards Fellowship.Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior medical leadership role, preferably in a primary care or urgent care setting.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a multi-disciplinary healthcare team and drive clinical excellence.Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, standards and best practices in New Zealand.Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Commitment to continuous improvement and fostering a positive, patient-centric culture.What we offerFlexible work arrangements and a healthy work-life balance.Ongoing training and development opportunities.A collaborative and supportive work environment.The chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care and healthcare in the community.Equal Opportunity EmployerMediCross is an equal opportunity employer.
