Medical Dermatologist

We are seeking
a skilled and compassionate Dermatologist to join our team. As a Dermatologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various acute skin conditions, conducting skin examinations, performing surgical procedures, and providing expert advice on skincare.
You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and promote positive patient outcomes.
Our Dermatology Department consists ofa multi-disciplinary team, including Dermatologists, Registrars and DermatologySpecialist Nurses.
We provide acute dermatological assessment and treatment forpatients in the Canterbury / West Coast districts.
Ideally we are looking for Dermatologists whoare experienced in Hospital based Dermatology (acute conditions). You will work in a dedicatedDermatology space, that includes four purpose-built consult rooms, twoprocedure rooms, phototherapy and patch testing suites.
Along with outpatient clinics, there will besome inpatient consultation services for medical patients admitted under otherservices.
You will be supported by aDermatology registrar, a Clinical Nurse Specialist and a trained Dermatology nurse. Our current Dermatologist will work alongsideyou and share the clinical and teaching duties involved in the role.
You will be supported to develop collegialrelationships with public Dermatology services in both Waikato and Auckland, inorder to further you development and continuing medical education.
