Medical Care Assistant

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic Medical Care Assistant to join our team.
This is a permanent position of 32.5 hours per week spread over 5 days.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Medical Care Assistant to join our team.
Position Overview: Working under the direction and delegation of a registered nurse or general practitioner, the role will provide clinical and administrative support, contributing to the smooth and effective running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities: Assisting in basic assessments and patient care Blood Tests (training will be provided) Restocking of clinical areas Decontamination and sterilisation of equipment Cold chain management Preparing for and assisting with minor surgery Chaperoning Management and ordering of consumables Administration support About You: Previous experience as a Medical Care Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Medical Assistant Certification or similar) are advantageous but not required.
Ability to adapt to a busy, fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
A genuine interest in working in a rural community and contributing to the health and well-being of its residents.
