The Role We are looking for a full-time, 40 hours / week Medical Administrator with dictation typing skills, to work Mondays to Fridays. This role also includes rotating with others on the team to work on the clinic reception desk. Key responsibilities The role involves general administrative duties, providing support to our doctors with diary management and scheduling, and working in multiple software platforms (MediTex, Salve). We also take payments, book appointments, and answer patient queries which often includes answering a lot of phone calls. This is a fast-paced role with many moving parts and requires someone who genuinely enjoys being busy and is detailed oriented. Ideal candidate, skills and experience You enjoy liaising with people at all stakeholder levels and have a mature manner to appropriately respond and assist as needed. We're also looking for someone: with the ability to maintain confidentiality and portrays an overall professional demeanour who is quick to learn and open to learning new things; this includes being comfortable with learning new software to respond to telephone queries and other requests patiently and efficiently who has exceptional attention to detail and an expert at managing conflicting priorities who possess a positive attitude and the resilience needed to work in a front-line support position who is able and willing to work with others in a team - comfortable asking for help and offering help to others who can build positive working relationships with others ideally, previous experience in a support role in healthcare or with medical terminology, and experience with engaging with customers Sound computer skills, a positive, empathetic nature and impressionable frontline personality are essential for this role.
