Tenei turanga - About the Role: Mediators play a critical role under the provisions of the Employment Relations Act, and they're involved in a wide range of employment relations activities – from helping people to resolve employment relationship problems and disputes to working with employers and employees to help them maintain constructive relationships.
We are currently experiencing a significant increase in demand for our dispute resolution services.
To address this demand and manage a backlog of applications, we are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team on a fixed-term basis for up to two years.
These roles will play a crucial part in ensuring timely service delivery during this high-demand period.

We're looking for a person who enjoys working with people in high conflict to help them work through a process in a way that is culturally appropriate and meets diverse needs.
Nga pukenga me nga wheako e hiahiatia ana - Skills and Experience Required * You must be comfortable working on a wide range of employment situations * Experience working with relevant employment legislation and understanding of dispute resolution processes * Mediation accreditation or equivalent experience * Experience working with culturally diverse parties in professional and emotionally sensitive environments * Any volunteer work or qualification that is relevant to the skills and experience for the role.
