We an established vehicle compliance centre that has celebrated over 10 years in business. We require a mechanic/hoist person to work in our mechanical department to carry out various repairs to our customer's vehicles.
You will have your own mechanical bay with a modern hoist to work in. Own tools essential.
Duties:
* Brake and steering repairs
* Small electrical repairs
* Suspension repairs
* Interior repairs
* Repairs to running gear
* Diagnosing of faults and scanning for issues
* General mechanical work as required.
The successful applicants will need the following skills
* Experience in mechanical repairs of at least one year
* Be able to work well with in a team environment.
* Be honest and reliable.
* Be self motivated and efficient in work procedures.
* Be quick and accurate when carrying out duties.
* Have good communication skills, listen and follow instructions, be able to fill in paperwork accurately.
* Be punctual and be able to work extra hours when required.
* Have a clean New Zealand Drivers License.
