Days: Rotational Roster
Hours: Guaranteed at least 30 hours

Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring all production and service equipment operates efficiently, meeting both operational and production requirements. You will provide engineering support during equipment breakdowns, resolve issues promptly, and be flexible to operate the production line when needed. Other responsibilities include:
Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements for equipment, pressure, refrigeration, and boiler systems.Maintain and optimise plant electrical, refrigeration, and boiler (steam and thermal) systems.Identify and implement product improvements or cost reductions through fabrication, assembly, and quality control knowledge.Apply continuous improvement methods, such as lean manufacturing, to enhance quality and cost-efficiency.Support preventative maintenance to maximise machinery reliability and minimise operational costs.To be successful in this role, you will have: At least 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role or relevant level 6 qualification.Proven knowledge of FMCG industry processes and methods.Industrial knowledge in areas such as heating generation, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.Strong attention to detail with excellent technical skills.Ability to work independently with great time management.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.Have clean police report with no charges pending.If you're looking for a role that offers variety, the chance to work on interesting projects, and the opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you!
