The Company This organisation specialises in delivering large-scale maintenance and project execution, supporting heavy industrial operations across central New Zealand. With a focus on supporting the ongoing development for a sustainable future, this company has seen significant growth and is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to support the delivery of diverse projects across the central North Island. The Role Joining the wider delivery team, you'll take projects from initial scoping and design right through to delivery. With a broad range of clients across the sector, you'll be part of a dedicated reactive maintenance team. As demand in the industry grows, your expertise will be essential in maintaining and upgrading existing assets to keep everything running smoothly. About You As an experienced Mechanical Fitter/Technician, you will also have experience in: Heavy rotating equipment - Turbines, gearboxes, motors and compressors Maintenance of valves, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and industrial fittings Fault finding and asset condition monitoring/management Experience around team management/leadership is advantageous but not essential for this role The Opportunity In an ever-growing industry with increasing demand for diverse and dynamic projects, this role offers a unique opportunity to further develop your skillset in a position filled with exciting challenges.
