Together, we will bring the best of Suntory to Oceania. The Opportunity This role is key in ensuring the efficient and uninterrupted operation of the production machinery. This role works closely with production to ensure that production targets are achieved and that engineering issues are resolved in a timely manner. What you'll be doing Performing planned maintenance as well as completing related documentation Optimising plant reliability and minimising operating costs Responding to any breakdowns quickly and efficiently, escalating issues where appropriate Proactively working to make improvements on cost, quality and downtime Improving efficiency with all maintenance assignments Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Ensure all safety standards are met What's in your toolkit? Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of the business Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment – FMCG/beverage experience is highly desired You demonstrate initiative and are a self-starter. A continuous improvement mindset; you will be able to identify improvements and lead continuous improvement projects Electrical or mechanical trade certification Flexibility to work a variety of hours and shifts – including after hours and weekends Strong organisational skills; you will be able to plan, prioritise and maintain performance with conflicting priorities A safety-first mindset - this will be at the core of everything you do If you're not an expert in all of these areas, don't worry!
