Join our tendering team on a fixed term maternity cover contract, where you'll oversee the preparation of estimates, work programs, cash flows, and contract condition reviews. As a pivotal team member, your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the scope of supply aligns with the scope of work.
Preparing documents for suppliers and subcontractors to facilitate pricing during tender periods.
Developing work schedules and cash flows upon completion of pricing.
Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
Assessing commercial requirements.
Supporting the Tendering Manager to address all aspects of Requests for Proposal.
Skills and Experience
This role demands immediate effectiveness due to its fixed term nature. Key qualifications and experience include:
Preferably a tertiary qualification in engineering or quantity surveying.
Previous experience in estimating and/or quantity surveying.
Familiarity with tender documents and quoting processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Project, and Outlook.
Ability to interpret drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using CAD.
Experience in supply chain management, including offshore operations.
Ability to create and refine costing templates.
Strong commercial acumen.
Excellent planning, organizing, and communication skills (both written and oral).
