About the role Talley's Blenheim has vacancies for Mechanical Engineering Trades at our Land Based plant.
You will work within a diverse and constantly changing operating environment, providing day-to-day maintenance at our Blenheim plant with a mix of reactive and proactive maintenance.
Based on your experience and qualifications, your hourly rate will range from $35 - $50.
As a Mechanical Engineering Trade, you will be responsible for:
Assisting with mechanical engineering research, design, manufacturing, construction and operationsMaintaining machinery, manufacturing equipment, mechanical installations and facilities
Qualifications
For this role, you'll need: To be a Trade Certified Fitter/Turner/WelderMinimum 4 years Industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food production and/or relevant work experience and proven successes In Preventative and Reactive maintenanceAn eye for detail and identifying areas for ImprovementGood time management, organisational skills and enthusiasm for getting it rightImpeccable communication skills
