Due to an outstanding project win, we are urgently needing 3 Mechanical Engineers to join a rapidly expanding water engineering team. Mechanical Engineer - Water Sector We are seeking talented Mechanical Engineers at various levels to join a very dynamic team in Auckland. If you're passionate about water and wastewater infrastructure and looking for a challenging career, we have exciting opportunities for you! Due to an outstanding project win, we are urgently needing the following: Principal Mechanical Engineer - Water Salary Band: NZD 150,000 - 180,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level technical leadership on water and wastewater projects Lead complex designs for pipelines and pump stations Develop and execute strategies supporting the Water Sector business vision Mentor team members and manage project resources Collaborate with senior leadership to drive business growth Ensure adherence to safety, health, and quality standards Requirements: BE or equivalent qualification Chartered Engineer status with IPENZ or equivalent Minimum 8 years of professional experience Proven leadership and client relationship skills Intermediate to Senior Mechanical Engineer - Water Salary Band: NZD 100,000 - 140,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Design and implement water and wastewater pump stations Conduct hydraulic analysis and prepare technical specifications Review and contribute to bids, proposals, and design reports Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project delivery Mentor junior team members Contribute to business development initiatives Requirements: BE or equivalent qualification 5-8 years of relevant experience Working towards or achieved Chartered Engineer status Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Intermediate Mechanical Engineer - Water Salary Band: NZD 70,000 - 100,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure Perform hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing Prepare technical drawings and contribute to project documentation Support senior team members in project delivery Participate in site inspections and contractor management Requirements: BE or equivalent qualification 2-5 years of experience in the water sector Familiarity with local and national water infrastructure standards Proficiency in relevant engineering software Technical Aspects Across All Levels: Water and wastewater pump station design Pipeline engineering and hydraulic analysis Familiarity with local and national standards for water infrastructure Understanding of safety regulations in water and wastewater projects Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office applications What's on Offer: Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative work environment with multidisciplinary teams Involvement in local, national, and international projects Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and well-being Join our team and make a significant impact on vital water infrastructure projects.
