ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a well-versed Mechanical Engineer to join the team at our Kapuni Ammonia/Urea Manufacturing site, located in the beautiful Taranaki region.
Reporting through to the Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will provide and support the following: Ongoing plant support in a timely and efficient manner.
Assistance in maintaining pressure equipment, piping, and welding in-house specifications.
Mechanical Engineering Support to the Maintenance and Operations teams.
Mechanical Engineering support to replacement Projects in line with expected standards and codes of practice.
The role provides lots of opportunity for independence and ownership of the role but with the support of an experienced team to provide direction and the ability to develop and grow into the role.
ABOUT YOU You will bring to the role: BEng or BSc Mechanical Engineering Degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Technical experience in Pressure Equipment and Piping design.
A team player, able to work with multiple different teams and disciplines.
Pro-active approach to solution generation and continuous improvement.
