Due to continued growth, they have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with Project Management and Quotation skills, to join their collaborative team of Design, Project Engineers, and Fabrication workshop engineers. This is an interesting and varied role that involves time in the design office, workshop, and on job sites. As a Mechanical Engineer within J J Niven Engineering, you will enjoy directly working with a diverse range of projects and end-users - both existing and new clients, you will prepare quotations and design concepts, undertake design calculations, do the 3D drafting in SolidWorks, and undertake the project management on and off-site. The preferred Mechanical Design Engineer candidate will be an intermediate to senior engineer, but graduates who can demonstrate a solid understanding of engineering first principles with relatable experience and strengths in design are also encouraged to apply.
