A key focus of the Design Engineer, Draftsperson or Sales Engineer role, is being able to produce drawings, bills of materials and associated documentation ensuring accuracy and detail which is critical. It can include quotes and meeting key deadlines.

You will likely have the following skills or experience:
A strong mechanical aptitude.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsFor some roles - Inventor skills, some Solidworks and AutoCAD experiencePrevious experience with industrial plant and technology would be preferable.Communication in English - both verbally and in writing, to a high standardBe able to work autonomously on complex models and projects.Read the attached generic Job Description for more information.While the Company is an Accredited Employer you must hold a valid Work Visa for New Zealand (AEWV, Partner Visa, Working Holiday Visa etc) or have the right to work in New Zealand (NZ citizen or Permanent Residency) to be offered an Interview.
You will need to be in New Zealand for an Interview, to be able to progress to our preferred shortlist and be able to commence work with us, shortly thereafter (up to 6 weeks) if offered a role.
