Using proprietary technology their goal is to enable sustainable building materials that reduce the environmental impact of construction.We are now looking for an ambitious Mechanical Design Engineer who is passionate about new technologies and delivering quality solutions. If you enjoy the challenge of designing and building an innovative new, fully automated manufacturing plant in an exciting new company, then this could be the opportunity for you.What will you do?Key elements of the role include:Developing quality design and innovative solutions via 3D CAD design and modellingEnsuring compliance with relevant structural and safety standardsOverseeing installation and commissioning - with a need to be hands onWorking with subcontractors and customers during the commissioning processPreparing system requirements specification - liaising with customers, suppliers and staffRemotely monitoring operational plants from our base to detect issues and remedy faults quicklyWhat will you bring?Ideally, you will have a Mechanical Engineering Degree or similar and bring with you a minimum of 5 years of onsite practical design experience and:A high level of experience with 3D CAD packages (especially Solidworks)Experience designing to meet engineering standardsGood organisation skills and an enthusiasm for learning new thingsThe ability to methodically work through complex technical challengesGreat written and verbal communication skillsWhat will you get:They offer excellent career development opportunities.
