We are seeking a creative and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer for a 14-month fixed term contract that is not afraid to think outside the box, to join our Engineering team at ETEL Power Solutions and be responsible for: Collaborating with the team in the project of standardising kiosk transformer substation designs. Producing quality drawings for customers, production and external suppliers in an efficient and cost-effective way. Assisting with mechanical design procedures and processes. Building and maintaining the mechanical design and engineering tools, systems and processes. Supporting Production and external suppliers to resolve design or manufacturing issues, inspect workmanship, provide suggestions and ideas to continuously improve new and existing products. The ideal candidate will have: A Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of three years of experience as a Design Engineer and/or Mechanical Engineer, preferably in manufacturing. 3D Modelling / 2D Drawing experience in Solidworks. Experience with Design automation, Product Data Management and ERP systems highly regarded. You will also bring with you: Great communication & people skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels. A positive and team-focused attitude. Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines. Attention to detail, process driven and quality focused. So, what's in it for you?
