Frankton Tyre Services (Snap Service 2022 Limited) are looking for two friendly, competent, team players to join our Workshop in Frankton as Mechanics looking after our retail customers and the Snap Rentals fleet of vehicles.
Key Duties:
Maintenance of vehicles, which includes servicing, repairing, and general safety checks
Making sure the safety of the vehicles is up to the standard we aim for
Changing tyres
Small repair jobs and replacing damaged parts of the vehicles
Diagnosing and repairing vehicles
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Other duties that are provided by your Manager
Key Skills Required:
3 years minimum experience in a mechanic position and a qualification is preferred but not essential
Ability to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role
Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs for vehicles
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Customer service skills / Communication skills to deal with other team members, branch members and key support team members
To be able to work autonomously while being a contributing team member
To be able to work unsupervised safely
Keep clean and tidy tools and workshop
Also, ideally, you will have your own tools
We provide a minimum 36 hour work week and the pay rate is $29.66 - $33.00 per hour depending on experience. Work days are Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday as required.
