Mechanic

*Our workshop, located in Takaka, sunny Golden Bay, is very busy and fast-paced with contracts including the AA and First Rescue. We also run tow trucks to recover and deliver within the region.*Being a rural workshop allows us to service and maintain community vehicles ranging from light motor vehicles to heavy/farm machinery and trucks. We offer a family-friendly team environment, in a small rural town, with fantastic staff who take pride in our work and relationships with our customers.*We are looking for a reliable, honest, and hardworking mechanic to carry out routine maintenance and servicing on light vehicles & trailers. A class 2 driver's license would be advantageous to help with any on-call recovery jobs that come up.*We are also after a WOF inspector/wheel alignment technician.*These could be full-time or part-time positions for the right candidate.*Minimum requirements:• 1-year full-time experience and a trade qualification as a mechanic or a 3-year full-time experience as a mechanic and/or warrant of fitness inspector.• Current valid driver's license compulsory.• Good work ethic, observant & physically fit.**MUST BE NEW ZEALAND CITIZEN TO APPLY**Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
