ANZCO Foods Limited are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Level 4 Qualified Meat Inspectors to join our team at our ANZCO Foods Kokiri site on the West Coast. While this is a Bovine only site, ANZCO welcome applications from Level 4 Ovine qualified Meat Inspectors as additional training would be provided to any suitable applicant.
This role is vital to our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality meat products to our customers. The ANZCO employed Meat Inspectors will be responsible for carrying out Post Mortem Inspection as per the requirements laid out in the Operational Code - Red Meat Post Mortem Examination, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and supporting quality assurance standards across our facilities and assisting when required in other roles.
Key Responsibilities Inspect meat products for compliance with the Operational Code - Red Meat Post Mortem Examination.Ensure adherence to hygiene and quality standards.Identify and report any safety hazards or non-compliance issues.Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.Work collaboratively with regulatory bodies and quality control teams.About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
