This role assists policy holders, dealers, and repairers with policy coverage queries and claim lodgements.The MBI Claims Officer drives customer satisfaction and ensures all parties are kept informed throughout the process. Due to the nature of this role, the successful applicant is required to have their Automotive trade certificate.You will be based in our stunning new central Auckland offices, where you will join a team that is passionate about providing the best experience. This role has flexibility to work from home up to two days per week. Plus,no weekend or night shifts!Reporting to the MBI Team Leaders, you would be responsible for:Registering, assessing and processing all insurance claims assigned to you, making decisions or making recommendations to approve/decline claimsFollowing all processes and guidelines and act within delegated authorityEnsuring all documentation is up-to-date, accurate and correctly storedBuilding strong relationships with dealer and repair networksResolving customer, repairers, and dealer complaints and/or objectionsResponding to queries about policy coverage, the claims process, and information requestsWorking effectively in a team environment, collaborating with others and sharing your knowledge and skills to achieve team goals and objectivesAbout you:Automotive trade certificate (required)Experience handling and making claim decisions (desired)Technology savvy and quick to learn new systemsProactive attitude and willingness to learn, great team playerGreat customer service skills, ability to handle disputes in a professional mannerAbility to meet service levels and individual KPI'sAbility to prioritise and multi-task effectivelyDecision making skills and ability to problem solveSound knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteTo apply:Please submit your resume accompanied by a cover letter detailing your suitability for the role.
