Position: Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Subject: Mathematics and statistics
Albany Junior High School is a middle school (Y7-10) on Auckland's North Shore, offering a future-focused, strength-based curriculum for emerging adolescents. We serve a diverse community who appreciate all that is on offer in our unique school environment.
We are looking for an inspiring and passionate mathematics teacher to join our mathematics faculty, starting in term 1 2025. As a school community, we provide a caring and inclusive teaching and learning environment, with a strong pastoral support system. We pride ourselves on our positive staff culture and strong values.
In this role, there is a unique opportunity to work with emerging adolescents in a supportive, collegial faculty without the rigours of the NCEA process.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must be well versed in the NZC.
Must have current NZ teacher registration.
Must have either NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
