Our school values diversity, creativity, and inclusiveness.Role overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced educator to join our team as a mathematics teacher with the opportunity to teach to their strengths and passions within the mathematics and statistics curriculum area.Key responsibilities:Provide learning opportunities for every child relative to his or her needs, abilities, and stage of development.Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic success.Deliver lessons in accordance with subject schemes of work, national education guidelines, school policies, and the school.Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.Qualifications and experience:A relevant teaching qualification and current registration with the New Zealand Teaching Council.Proven experience in teaching mathematics and statistics at the secondary school level.Culturally responsive experience and teaching philosophy who can create and contribute to the relational and pedagogical relationships across all levels of our school.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A passion for critical thinking and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.What we offer:A supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A chance to make a significant impact on the lives of our students.We will be assessing and reviewing applications as they are received.
