Rangitoto College is seeking an enthusiastic, warm, and demanding teacher to join our highly successful and collegial Mathematics and Statistics department commencing at the start of Term 1, 2025.Applicants should be able to teach to Y13 and should state their mathematics specialty in their covering letter. Our ideal candidate will have experience teaching NCEA Calculus or NCEA Statistics to Level 3 and/or IB Analysis and Approaches or IB Applications and Interpretation to Higher Level.Rangitoto College aims to give every student the opportunity to excel. We welcome applications from beginning teachers, who can take advantage of our outstanding PCT programme. Teachers at the college are expected to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College.Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (CA). As assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education, annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting at $61,329.00 and a top rate of $103,086.00. Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.
