Rata Whanui | General Practitioner needed to cover Maternity Leave with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
We are looking for a dedicated General Practitioner to cover maternity leave from March 3rd to mid-September 2025. Peninsula Medical Centre is in the heart of the beautiful Eastern Suburbs of Miramar. With our modern and well-resourced facilities, we are proud to provide exceptional healthcare to over 9,000 patients, supported by a dedicated team of 5 GP partners, 4 GP associates, highly skilled nursing team including 3 nurse prescribers, an efficient administrative and reception team, and a dedicated clinical pharmacist and health improvement practitioner.
We are currently seeking a passionate GP to cover maternity leave from March to mid- September 2025. This cover also involves 0.1 FTE of rest home care a week. We use Medtech Evolution.
Experience flexibility around rostered hours from Monday to Friday. We ideally seek someone who can cover 0.5 or 0.6 FTE, but this is negotiable. This is an incredible opportunity to work in a supportive environment while serving a diverse patient population.

• FRNZCGP registered, or working towards it

• Legal right to work in New Zealand
• Current registration with the NZ Medical Council
• Current medical indemnity insurance
