Theposition will involve liaison and support across services working with pregnantor new mothers who also have significant mental health issues. You will be ableto demonstrate an understanding of the key values and attitudes required towork in the Maternal Mental Health area. The goal is forearly intervention for infants and their whanau who are at risk of damagedattachment and bonding, including therapeutic interventions, and coordinatedcommunity supports. The successful applicant will have the ability to form goodworking relationships with other agencies / organisations.The full-time equivalent salary range forthis position is $85,000 through to $106,000 based on the current PSA Allied orNursing MECA, dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.
