Arataki Ministries provides Community Mental Health services in Whangarei and the wider Northland area.
We have a full-time vacancy to join our growing team working as a Maternal & Infant Mental Health Community Support Worker (MiMHS), based in our Whangarei office.
This role entails supporting women who have experienced/or are experiencing mental health issues relating to the pregnancy, childbirth and/or the adjustment to parenting.
The successful applicant will have:  Completed Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions (L4) or  or an equivalent qualification Have passion and empathy for working with mothers and their whanau experiencing a mental health diagnosisBe resilientHave common sense and able to work as a member of the team and autonomouslyHave experience in working with people with a mental health and addiction diagnosisHave good communication skills; verbal and writtenHave good IT skillsHave a full and clean driver's licenseHave a clear police recordApplicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
