Material Planners are quarterbacks on a very large team of players that support operations and supply chain; they call the plays and ensure everyone within Production and Supply Chain knows their next action. Material Planners interact with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure they are planning and managing the production schedule, supplier lead times, inventory levels, and engineering build timelines.YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain or other relevant fields or 5+ years of related experienceGaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires additional specialized training.Prior experience in aerospace, EV automotive, or other disruptive manufacturing industriesPrior experience in rapid growth environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience with AS9100, US export controls (ITAR and EAR)Proven ability to produce material line of balance and conduct clear to build reviews.Proven knowledge of Material Planning fundamentals for master data management, order policy, BOM management, and planning release and fulfillment.Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, math and statisticsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesTeam oriented, strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and to multiple deadlinesStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficientlySalary dependent on experience: between NZD$75,000- NZD$105,000FOR CANDIDATES SEEKING TO WORK IN NEW ZEALAND OFFICES ONLY:For security reasons background checks will be undertaken prior to any employment offers being made to an applicant.
