Production, Planning & Scheduling (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time This is an exciting opportunity to join the supply chain team at Oceania Dairy as a Material Planner.
The Material Planner is tasked with overseeing material planning to ensure that all packaging and ingredient (P&I) procurement is conducted in accordance with policies and standards and completed promptly.
This role emphasizes the execution of purchase orders, order confirmations, order management, and order delivery.
It also entails maintaining purchasing master data, including incoterms, lead times, and other relevant information.
This role is pivotal in contributing to overall operational efficiency and supports the organisation's supply chain objectives.
In the role of Material Planner, you will be responsible for (not limited to): Ensuring the continuous supply to meet operational requirements for production to the highest standard.
All purchase order management related tasks, including PO creation and PO maintenance.
Co-ordination of PO receipting promptly and accurately.
Inventory management on inventory purchased for all P&I, this includes P&I inventory management, dating stock management, slow moving stock management, dated stock disposal, product life cycle management.
Managing supplier performance reporting, forecasting, inventory reporting, master data management.
Assisting in the planning of our third-party manufacturers and with the planning tools/software maintenance and continuous improvement.
The successful applicant will have: Tertiary bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Analysis.
Knowledge and experience of the core purchasing skills, ideally international purchasing and freight is desirable.
Experience in supply chain and ERP systems is desirable.
Extensive Microsoft Office Suite experience, with advanced Excel skills.
Fluent mandarin speaking and writing ability required for HQ reporting.
This role is based in Glenavy, South Canterbury, NZ.
The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000.
The hours of work are 40 hours, Monday to Friday.
