The Opportunity Reporting to the Operational Planning Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join our planning team taking ownership for the availability of raw materials to production lines, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in full to enable our Swanbank manufacturing site achieve optimal schedule adherence.
What you'll be doing
In this role you will interface with suppliers for timely delivery of raw materials and take responsibility for the following:
Planning packaging materials to support manufacturing process.
Minimise obsolete materials with target of zero cost.
Manage the run in and out of materials.
Work with procurement and quality to review and address any vendor performance issues and attend supplier review meetings.
Improve raw material supply performance, working with vendors, and procurement to ensure smooth management of raw materials.
Provide accurate information on stocks of materials which are subject to supply risks in a timely manner.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure all materials for new product launch activity is coordinated to vendors and planning in a timely manner.
In addition, you will have accountability for the purchasing of raw materials from suppliers to meet production plans and take accountability for:
Measuring the delivery performance of suppliers in delivering products in a timely manner.
Ensuring materials supplied meet the quantity and quality required.
Liaising with suppliers to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of supplying materials to Suntory Oceania.
Provision of forecasts to key suppliers and obtaining confirmation that they can meet our requirements.
Experience you'll bring To support your success in this role you will demonstrate the following experience:
Knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management.
Experience in SAP System.
Relevant Tertiary qualification.
A positive and 'can do' attitude.
