How to contribute to our vision Our Wind Power business in Hull is continuing to develop at great speed with a 1,200 strong manufacturing and assembly facility at the forefront of the Renewable Energy industry. You will be working with the latest technology at our state of the art facility.
What is a Management Accountant and what do they do?
The Management Accountant is an integral role to the organisation and reports directly to the Financial Controller for Production, overseeing the monthly financial reporting cycle to ensure timely delivery of accurate and reliable financial information to internal stakeholders. This role is based on site in Hull.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to: Budgeting, forecast preparations and the "month end process"
Ensuring compliance of factory business activities i.e. Sarbanes Oxley/Signature protocol
Material cost analysis for Direct and Indirect Material against Budget and Forecast
Production costs and manufacturing variance analysis
Inventory Controlling and Cost Center Controlling and Business Partnering with different functions across the business
Financial statement controlling and Hedging
Cash flow and balance sheet management
Supporting Cost Reducing Initiatives across the business and the Finance Head in ad hoc commercial topics
Product cost controlling according to Siemens Gamesa costing guidelines
Drive productivity measures and calculate cost benefits ,also factory Price calculations
Support in the preparation, analysis and annotation of the monthly plant performance
Implementation and development of reporting systems

CIMA OR ACCA/AAT qualifications or Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Finance & Accounting or similar
Data Management and Strong Excel Skills
Experience of Factory/Manufacturing Controlling and Financial Processes
Accounting Principles (IFRS) and Local GAAP
IT systems – SAP (SRP) and with other standard Office IT Systems
Sarbanes- Oxley/RIC
Working experience in an intercultural environment desirable
Exceptional levels of attention to detail
High focus on quality and the ability to work with complex processes
You will be a skilled communicator who can easily interact at all organizational levels.
