Job Description Our Retail Operations Team work to implement the products, ideas and processes that land on our forecourts and inside our stores. Supporting 16 retail operators over our 189 Z sites this role will see you make a real difference to Z providing innovative, efficient and profitable operations.
Joining us as a Matanga Whakahaere Hokohoko Retail Operations Specialist will see you move into a role with a dual focus; project delivery and providing operational support to our Retail network.
Both aspects of the role work towards Z's customer experience ambitions.

You will have the opportunity to Execute initiatives using your project delivery skill set including scoping, business case development, planning, leading cross functional squads, stakeholder communication and timeline & budget management Identify, develop and implement new processes and systems that improve the delivery of our offer at Z retail sites Own and manage the key operational support 'products' that are used on the frontline, digital tablets and software used for reporting and mitigation Act as the day-to-day escalation point for key suppliers to ensure they deliver high quality products and services Support the administration of various Retail systems Qualifications What you'll bring to Z At least 2 years project management experience & relevant project management certification Proficient in using Project Management software and/or methodologies Exposure to a complex commercial environment, ideally retail with a partnership model A passion for people; our customers and retailers as well as contributing to a team Skills in developing and implementing improved processes and procedures and a real commitment to learning and development A drive to get results, the resilience to keep going amongst change and a passion for being part of a team driving tangible results Demonstrated experience of delivering against projects and plans, to time and with quality information Communication skills to work with a range of stakeholders, coordinate resources and be a central point of contact And of course, you'll be passionate about what matters to Z, embracing and living our values to help us deliver on our aspirations and broader commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand.
