Nau mai, haere mai ki Te Whatu Ora – Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley DistrictLocation: Wellington and Central Region / six Lower North Island districtsService: Central Region Eating Disorder Service (CREDS)Contract: Permanent Full time - (1.0 FTE)Salary: Grade 8, $114,916- $136,453 depending on experience.This exciting new role within CREDS will focus on early intervention for people with eating disorders and strengthen the ability of each Central Region district to enhance outcomes for this cohort. It will support primary care clinicians and other community health providers to apply timely, best practice assessment and intervention to alter the trajectory of those with eating disorders and to minimize the impact of their illness.CREDS provides specialist assessment and treatment services to those impacted by eating disorders in the Central Region of New Zealand. In accordance with best practice clinical guidelines, it offers a comprehensive range of treatment services from nutritional counseling, outpatient individual and family therapy, psychiatry, and psycho-social education through to a 6-bed Residential Programme and a 7am-7pm therapeutic Day Programme. This role will be based within the close-knit and supportive CREDS multi-disciplinary team, working collaboratively with its many partner agencies across the lower North Island in a range of primary care and community settings.The Central Region Eating Disorder Service (CREDS) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Nurse Practitioner to join our unique multi-disciplinary team.
