Massage Therapist

Responsibilities:Massaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments, to assist healing.Utilising a range of massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury.Administering treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, relieve muscle tension and stress, enabling toxins to be pushed out of the body and realigning the body.Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice.Employing other techniques, such as traditional Chinese massage, and complementary aids, such as wheat bags, essential oils, and herbal reflexology massage, to assist recovery.Discussing clients' problems, assessing clients' physical condition and case history, and advising on stretching exercises, relaxation techniques, and lifestyle needs.Assisting the director in running the booking system and maintaining the quality of the business.Job Types: Casual, PermanentPay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 30 per weekBenefits:Employee mentoring programFree drinksProfessional development assistanceSchedule:Day shiftFixed shiftWeekend availabilitySupplementary Pay:TipsExperience:Massage therapist: 1 year (Preferred)Language:English (Preferred)
