We have an opportunity in our Feilding Events team for a Marquee Operations Supervisor. You will be working closely with the Branch Manager to ensure our events work is well planned, clearly communicated and successfully executed.
The role is physically demanding and you're constantly on the go but there is also much to be learned and you'll have a great team to support you. Experienced riggers would be ideal but we also want to hear from people who have worked in Events or Construction, love the outdoors, are team orientated, and are keen to develop their existing skills.
Some of the responsibilities of this role include: Effectively overseeing the work of other Marquee Riggers and temporary labour on siteEnsuring all hire equipment is stored and maintained to a high standard and delivered and returned with due care and attentionEnsuring all work is carried out safely and in line with any regulatory requirementsIdeally you will also have experience in the following: Full Class 1 Driver Licence (even better if you have Class 2)Excellent organisational and customer service skillsAble to work with a diverse array of people and build successful working relationshipsWillingness to take ownership and be held accountableDepending on the Event there may be a requirement on occasion to oversee weekend work.
