Who are we? Happy Hire is New Zealand's leading marquee and event hire specialist, with a wide range of marquees and everything to go with it, we have your event covered. Our busy business services Celebrations, Weddings, Corporate Events, Community Events, Festivals, Horse Racing Events, Sporting Events and much more.
What is the job? In this hands-on role, you'll be carrying out the setup and dismantling of marquees for events across Waikato and occasionally other parts of the country. Learning from the best, you'll pick up the ropes quickly, ensuring targets are not only met but exceeded. This is a busy and hands-on position, being onsite and in the sun. Starting on a minimum 30-hour fixed term contract with potential work opportunities following the conclusion of our summer season. You may be required to travel to any part of the country and be away from Hamilton for extended periods of time. However, you'll get to work at some epic events alongside our amazing team!

Specific experience isn't required. If you have a good head on your shoulders, can pick things up and possess a great work ethic - we can train you in the rest. We work hard to provide our clients with the highest level of service, therefore weekend work and evening availability are essential to complete some of our event setups/pack downs.
