Our busy business services Celebrations, Weddings, Corporate Events, Community Events, Festivals, Horse Racing Events, Sporting Events, and much more.What is the job?In this hands-on role, you'll be carrying out the setup and dismantling of marquees for events across Canterbury and occasionally other parts of the country. Learning from the best, you'll pick up the ropes quickly, ensuring targets are not only met but exceeded. This is a busy and hands-on position, being onsite and in the sun. Starting on a minimum 30-hour fixed term contract with potential work opportunities following the conclusion of our summer season. You may be required to travel to any part of the country and be away from Christchurch for extended periods of time. If you have a good head on your shoulders, can pick things up and possess a great work ethic - we can train you in the rest. We work hard to provide our clients with the highest level of service; therefore, weekend work and evening availability are essential to complete some of our event setups/pack downs.Good level of physical fitness, being able to comfortably lift 30kgs.Full clean driver's license & able to drive manual - Forklift license and experience driving trailer is a bonus.Willingness to obtain a Class 2 vehicle license.Positive attitude and enthusiasm.Strong customer service and communication skills.Willingness to learn and grow.Dependable, punctual, and reliable to get the job done.Willing to contribute and be part of an awesome team doing epic things.Self-motivated and good initiative.Do you think you tick the boxes?
