Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications) Platinum Recruitment has partnered exclusively with Audiology South, a leading provider of Audiology Services in the South Island, for a new opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Specialist to join the team. Reporting primarily to the Director, this position will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the marketing strategies moving forward. About the company: Audiology South are Hearing Health Professionals and have a growing reputation across the South of New Zealand. Their key difference is their independence, they supply and fit hearing devices from all leading manufacturers and are not limited by the products of any one supplier. Customers get the best options for their hearing needs, every time. About the role: This is a newly created, and sole charge role for an experienced marketing professional who is looking for a new opportunity. This role is 0.8 FTE and offers a hybrid model with three days per week in the Audiology South office, and one day working from home. The Marketing Specialist can be based out of Dunedin, Invercargill, or Queenstown. Key responsibilities include: The Marketing Specialist (MS) collaborates on setting marketing direction and managing budgets. This role oversees the execution of major campaigns, coordinates with external partners, and ensures a strong digital presence. Responsibilities include booking media spaces, supervising websites and social media channels, and coordinating events. Regularly reviewing marketing channels and expenses, the MS will provide recommendations for improvement and ROI. Striking a balance between high-level strategy (20-30%) and hands-on tactical execution (70-80%), this role is pivotal in driving effective marketing initiatives. Qualifications, Experience, and Personal Characteristics: Proven experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies Hands-on experience in operational aspects such as AdWords, Google profiles, display ads, and website management Ability to work independently and collaboratively, coordinating with suppliers, designers, and media channels Strong analytical, creative, and adaptive skills Excellent communication organisational, and coordination skills Must be a self-starter, and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team Hands on, and adaptive to change Be creative and analytically minded and have proof of this in a prior role This is a great opportunity for an experienced marketing professional looking to make a significant impact in a growing and community-minded company.
