To provide strong support to the Senior Manager – Marketing & Corporate Communications. The incumbent is expected to be an all-round marketing officer with specific responsibility for developing promotions to support the sales efforts and product development, conducting marketing and competitive research and monitoring of market trends within the Financial Sector, and production of relevant reports with recommendations. The incumbent will also assist the Senior Manager – Marketing and Corporate Communications with internal communication and staff training as it relates to product launches, new features or changes to existing products, new or amended services. The duties to be performed include, but are not limited to the following: Monitors local, regional, international markets and emerging technologies to determine the changing trends and the needs of the Bank's internal and external customers. Designs and conducts regular research, analyzes data and customer behaviour to assist with insightful and relevant product development, monitors competitor trends, pricing policies, products and services. Provides reports in a timely manner based on research and data. Partners with the different lines of business to build, test and execute programs to drive conversion, adoption, and growth of the Bank's suite of products. Assists with the processing of invoices and budget tracking as required. Works with relevant departments to set KPI's and targets for products and campaigns based on market trends, customer behaviour and customer data. Assists with the organizing and planning of marketing related initiatives – promotions and events. Conducts a review of The Group's products every 2 years. To perform the job successfully, the individual must meet the following requirements: A minimum of a first degree in Marketing, Economics or Business, or related fields from an accredited University A minimum of five (5-7) years' experience in the field of Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, Product Development or related field Experience in product development or work experience in a financial institution in the business/sales section would be considered an asset Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical and research skills Computer literate with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Detail oriented and track record of meeting deadlines Ability to identify and recognize opportunities for increasing sales Advanced knowledge of marketing principles and practices An understanding of how products influence the customer experience As a member of the Marketing team, must be available to work weekends and after hours as required Compensation: An attractive package inclusive of Pension Plan and Medical Insurance.
