Discount Rentals Ltd has three branches across New Zealand. We are now seeking a Marketing Officer to join our Auckland branches. This is a full-time role requiring at least 30 hours per week.
This role is to identify market opportunities and advise on developing, coordinating, and implementing plans for marketing activities to support the business's development.
Tasks include:

Advertising Campaign Strategy & Execution: Plan, develop, and coordinate targeted advertising campaigns to achieve sales objectives and enhance brand visibility.
Strategic Advisory for Executives & Clients: Provide expert guidance to executives and clients on effective advertising strategies and campaigns that align with overall business goals.
Brand Awareness & Promotion: Drive consumer awareness and effectively communicate the brand's unique attributes and services to engage and attract target audiences.
Campaign Production Management: Oversee the production of advertising campaigns, ensuring the execution of specialized activities while adhering to time and budget constraints.
Market Analysis & Trend Forecasting: Analyse market data to identify consumer patterns and preferences and interpret current and emerging trends to inform marketing strategies.
Business Growth & Marketing Objectives: Support business development and growth by preparing and executing strategic marketing objectives that align with broader organizational goals.
Market Research & Opportunity Identification: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new opportunities for product or service expansion, as well as areas for improvement within existing offerings.
Comprehensive Marketing Strategy Advisory: Advise on all key elements of the marketing mix, including product positioning, pricing strategies, advertising, and sales promotions, to optimize business performance.

 The successful candidate must have
· At least three years of relevant experience OR a relevant qualification (equivalent to NZ L5 Diploma OR above).
· Good work attitude and good communication skills
· Strong motivation
· Physical fitness and could handle the heavy workload
· Quality workmanship and eye for detail
· Strong dedication to health and workplace safety
· Excellent interpersonal skills to work with other team members.
· Strong ability to work independently


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
