About the Role | Mo te Turanga
As our Marketing Manager Trade you will be part of the wider Brand & Marketing team that manages the activation and execution of the WWNZ brand strategy. You will take the lead for key trade marketing campaigns working with a large group of cross functional internal stakeholders, including partnering with the wider Woolworths group in Australia.

As project lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of these campaigns, including but not limited to establishing commercial and customer objectives, budget management, creative and media design and campaign delivery across all channels.

Key Responsibilities Include

Shape and deliver high impact marketing campaigns (instore and digital) for our business partners and suppliers
Collaborate with all internal stakeholders to ensure campaign timelines are adhered to and work is delivered on time and to standard
Develop strategic and tactical initiatives to support campaign delivery (In collaboration with Merchandise, Operations, Cartology and Woolworths Marketing teams)
Represent NZ with key AU Stakeholders to identify new opportunities and key learnings that can be implemented in the NZ market
Set clear input and output targets, in line with our commercial and customer-first expectations
Champion data-driven and insight-led decision-making to inform strategies, identify opportunities, optimise performance and proactively mitigate challenges
Champion the customer in our decision-making processes
Lead the NZ business in a trans tasman squad on creative development of all assets from TV, OOH and all local digital assets across paid, owned channels
Management of campaign marketing budget including forecasting and invoicing
Support Cartology NZ in their go to market offer and understanding the right media and channel mix

About You | Mou
To succeed in this role you will have 5 -10 years marketing experience with a background in Omni channel marketing, reaching every touchpoint and be someone who has led campaigns across a cross functional group.

Having a solid understanding of retail / FMCG customer promotions, its relationship to business objectives, providing tangible examples of previous work in this space as well as having a strategic lens to drive our marketing and brand scope will be what sets you apart.

To Succeed In This Role You Will Bring

Curiosity and/or understanding of Retail Media
A thorough understanding of shopper Trade marketing and retail customer journeys and principles of marketing effectiveness.
Deep understanding of customers, their behaviours and habits
Experience in sourcing consumer giveaway premiums and the associated supplier negotiation within an FMCG environment would also be beneficial
Strong analytical skills, with particular focus on customer and business metrics, an ability to understand trends, question hypotheses and demonstrable ability to consider data in a decision making process
Demonstrable financial management experience: forecasting budgeting and P&L dynamics
