Marketing Manager | The Trusts Support Office Brand Management (Marketing & Communications) Full time The Trusts core purpose is operating profitable businesses and investments to enable 'Giving Back' to the West Auckland community. We operate 34 plus leading retail liquor stores, modern hospitality bars and eateries, a hotel and manage a range of investment assets, all with the aim of creating long-term benefit for the region. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate marketing manager who can deliver strategic outcomes with a hands-on creative, fresh approach and confidently lead the team to success! The Role As Marketing Manager, you will lead our small but mighty marketing team, working to develop, manage and implement marketing and communication strategies. Along with leading the marketing function, the Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, increase customer and community engagement predominantly for our hospitality venues. This role involves overseeing digital and traditional marketing channels, creating content, managing marketing campaigns, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing strategy. Key Responsibilities: Create comprehensive marketing plans and strategies. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis. Plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, and traditional advertising. Monitor and analyze campaign performance. Create engaging and high-quality content including text, images and videos for social media, websites, blogs, and other digital platforms. Manage our venues online presence, including website updates, social media profiles, and online reviews. Develop and implement customer loyalty programs and promotions. Identify and establish partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and media. Plan and promote events hosted by our venues and sites. Develop and manage the marketing budget, monitor expenditure and ROI. Deliver effective marketing strategies to inspire a broad customer base and engage with followers, responding to comments and messages, and building a community. About You You are an experienced Marketing Manager, ideally with previous experience working in a hospitality environment. Your strengths will include flexibility, intuitiveness and a high level of emotional intelligence. You will have a thirst for success with the ability to grow and lead your team delivering award-winning worthy results. Skills and Experience Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in a marketing role, preferable within the hospitality or retail sectors. Outstanding communication skills across numerous platforms including written, verbal, and multi-media. Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, trends, strategies, and best practices. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels. Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines and stakeholder requirements. Sound judgement and a high level of initiative and self-management. Computer proficiency particularly in Microsoft Office products and Meta Business Suite.
