Your Future Role
We're looking for an energetic, results-oriented NZ Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for executing our marketing strategy and managing campaigns across multiple channels, including events, PR, content, eDM, paid digital, and traditional media. Your efforts will be key in driving brand awareness and fueling sales growth as we work towards making Thryv the top SaaS brand of choice for small businesses in New Zealand.
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will lead our go-to-market strategy for Thryv, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners. As an experienced leader, you will oversee and mentor a talented marketing team of two. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to support other brands by planning and executing campaigns across content, email marketing, and social media.
This role is a max-term full-time contract from January 2025 - October 2025, working from home (WFH) within New Zealand.
Your Responsibilities
Execute the comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to drive customer acquisition, retention, and lead generation.
Manage two marketing FTEs and oversee the local marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.
Collaborate with US/AU teams and engage interdepartmental stakeholders to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activities, measuring success and ROI.
Lead and manage industry events, supporting commercial partnerships and enhancing brand visibility.
Oversee customer content initiatives, including filming and creating engaging narratives.
Liaise with PR specialists to identify and leverage media opportunities.
Support internal communications and align marketing efforts across our two brands.
Present innovative strategies to maximise market penetration and campaign effectiveness.
A Bit About You
You are an experienced Marketing Manager, recognised for your ability to drive impactful marketing campaigns that elevate brand awareness and generate high-quality leads. Your expertise spans multiple channels with a proven track record in performance marketing and lead generation strategies tailored to the New Zealand B2B market. You have a proactive, results-driven approach and have extensive experience developing innovative, data-driven campaigns that align with business objectives. With a collaborative spirit, you will also bring strong leadership and communication skills.
Proven experience in Marketing Management, particularly within the B2B or SaaS sectors.
Ability to develop compelling and technically accurate content in collaboration with internal teams.
Familiarity with the New Zealand B2B market and customer engagement strategies.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams effectively.
Analytical skills, able to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic environment.
