Te Papa is seeking an exceptional Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategy and connect people with all the museum has to offer.

As part of the Marketing and Communications team, you will: * Develop and lead a Te Papa-wide marketing strategy, and research-led campaigns * Own, champion and evolve the Te Papa brand * Lead compelling marketing campaigns across exhibitions, programmes, and events * Showcase Te Papa as a cultural destination and storytelling platform * Collaborate with multiple internal teams and manage external agencies You'll bring: * Strategic vision and understanding of marketing * A commitment to our vision as a Tiriti-based museum * Great connecting and influencing skills, and the ability to roll up your sleeves and deliver as part of a small team * 7+ years of marketing experience in a comparable environment Experience in international marketing will be an advantage, with Te Papa having recently introduced an entry charge for international visitors This is a full-time role, but flexibility could be considered for the right applicant.
The role does not have direct reports, but provides functional leadership to a Marketing Advisor and Graphic Designer.
The salary range for this position is $91,773 to $126,188.
Offers will be made within the range to reflect the skills and experience offered by the candidate and those required of the role, and internal relativities with other employees.
