To help us with this, we are searching for a Marketing Manager to join the Transformation team, at our Head Office in Invercargill.
What you'll be busy with:
The purpose of this role is to drive SBS Bank's growth in the home loan and term deposit segments through the management and implementation of campaign activity along with day-to-day brand and marketing initiatives and reporting. As a senior member of the Marketing team and clearly responsible for their functional areas of expertise the incumbent is also expected to think and act in the wider strategic context and interests of SBS and the SBS Group. For example, works in conjunction with the Brand Lead to develop and drive the overall strategy, deep understanding of our segments, identification of innovation opportunities and Member outcomes.
Management of effective marketing activity across owned and paid media to generate improved outcomes.
Responsibility for working with the media agency on industry and competitor results and profiles reviews and interprets current and proposed financial reporting regulations making recommendations to ensure compliance.
Management of the SBS Bank website.
Co-ordinating the digital communications programme in consultation with the Brand Lead and Direct Marketer liaises with external auditors to ensure information is provided and answered in a timely manner.
What you'll bring:
At least 5 years' experience in a marketing manager role
Experience managing third party agencies (media/research/creative)
Experience working closely with leadership teams/boards
Extensive social media experience
Preferably Knowledge of the financial services industry and Google Analytics Certification
Ability to relate to people at all levels
Analytical and critical thinking
Ability to be self-motivated and take the initiative

This role is full time, 37.5 hours a week, 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
